The Heat is On! Chili Cook-Off

Evansville area chefs and wanna-be hotshots will be concocting their most delectable chili dishes for the 18th Annual The Heat Is On! Chili Cook-Off. Saturday evening, February 24, you can sample at least a dozen varieties of the area's best chili. It's more than a taste test, however. These concoctions are also judged for creativity and presentation. At stake are cash awards, medals and bragging rights!
The proceeds from this annual fundraiser support the Fourth of July Fireworks Show at Leonard-Leota Park. Chili Cook-Off admission fee is $17, which covers chili tasting, breadsticks, dessert and an age-appropriate beverage. Children age 10 and younger enter free with a paying adult. Bring a few extra dollars for the raffles! Tickets are available in advance from Creekside Place, the host site.
This family-friendly event, which includes lives music, is sponsored by the Evansville Community Partnership. Come for the food and stay for the fun!
