The City of Evansville has 3 parks that provide pavilions and athletic fields for your event.   The rates for both shelter and athletic fields are listed below.  There is also a $100 security deposit required on all shelters prior to your event that is refundable after the event is held.  All reservations are made through the City Clerk's Office at City Hall, 31 S. The largest of the parks is historic Leonard-Leota Park that boasts a 40-acre stream fed lake, spraypad, 4 pavilions, 2 ball diamonds, athletic field/courts (tennis, basketball, volleyball and soccer), multiple playground areas and 3 bathroom facilities.  Park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.  During the summer season (June thru August) park hours will be extended to 11 p.m.  The pavilions are most commonly referred to as the Upper Shelter, Lower Shelter, Horsebarn Shelter and the Oscar Dietzch Shelter.  All of these pavilions have lights and electrical outlets for your convenience.
