Leaf Collection

Curbside leaf collection will continue until snow accumulates or the end of November. Public Works requests that leaves are left loose on the curb and should not be raked or blown into the street. When the leaves clump together, they can create major clogs in the stormwater drainage system which can contribute to flash flooding and standing water in the streets. Public Works begin on Mondays and will comb through the town. If they do not finish, they will go back to the area that was missed. As the season progresses, Public Works will go through the town each week as the season and/or weather allows. More Information

City Clerk

The City Clerk’s Office performs all required statutory duties of the city clerk/treasurer as set forth in Wisconsin Statutes §§ 62.09 (11) & 62.90(9).   The posting, publication and maintaining of minutes, agendas, ordinances and resolutions are some of the duties of the City Clerk’s Office.
Other duties include the administering of elections within the City limits, voter registration and licensing.  There is always something that keeps the office busy but we always do our best to help all residents with their issues.
If you require assistance you can call one of our staff members at 608-882-2266.

Some of the items the City Clerk’s Office does not handle are marriage licenses, deeds, title transfers, old property tax records and land records.  You can find help at the County Clerk's Office, County Treasurer, and Register of Deeds websites.
