Leaf Collection

Curbside leaf collection will continue until snow accumulates or the end of November. Public Works requests that leaves are left loose on the curb and should not be raked or blown into the street. When the leaves clump together, they can create major clogs in the stormwater drainage system which can contribute to flash flooding and standing water in the streets. Public Works begin on Mondays and will comb through the town. If they do not finish, they will go back to the area that was missed. As the season progresses, Public Works will go through the town each week as the season and/or weather allows. More Information

What was happening 15,000 years ago in the region that is now Evansville?
Come to Leonard Park (the Upper Park), August 27, 2023, 12:00pm – 3:00pm to
hear the answer to this question.
I'll be cooking on the restored historic wood fired fireplace. Brats, dogs, and other
good stuff will be served at 12:00pm.
At 1:00pm, George Christiansen III, noted Lecturer with the Department of
Anthropology, Madison Area Technical College - Truax Campus, will discuss the
Ice Age in Wisconsin and what was happening 15,000 years ago here in Evansville.
At 2:00pm, Dennis James, Chapter Coordinator - Rock County Ice Age Trail
Alliance, will continue the conversation and tell us about the Ice Age Trail and its
development here in Evansville. Mr. James will have some displays and Monty,
