Curbside Collection Services

Beginning in 2026: Collection items must be to the curb by 8:00 am on Monday of the collection week. Only 1 pass will be made through the City to collect items.

Yard Waste

Collection of branches, brush and yard waste debris is scheduled from April to October, on the first (1st) full work week of the month.  All grass clipping and small yard waste must be placed in a paper bag or a container that can be emptied and placed back onto the terrace.  Plastic bags are not permitted.
Yard waste should not be raked or blown into the street.  Please be kind and blow your lawn clippings into your yard for natural decomposing.  When the lawn clippings clump together, they create major clogs in the stormwater drainage system which can contribute to flash flooding and standing water in the streets.

Leaf

First day of leaf pickup will be Monday November 2nd have your leaves in the street next to the curb by 8am Monday morning. Putting the leaves in the street will help streamline the process.
Public Works will start in zone 1 and work all the way through zone 3 for the first week. Then the second full week of leaf pick up will start in zone 1 and work west. Public Works may not get to an area in a given week due to leaf volume or inclement weather, they will pick up from where they left off from the previous week.
Things to remember:
- Rake leaves into the street lined up along the curb.
- Do not park cars near the piles.
- Avoid putting leaves over the storm grates
- Do not put anything other than leaves in the pile. For example no sticks or yard waste, pumpkins, or building materials. If a pile is found with that material it will not be picked up.
No leaves will be picked up the week of November 23rd.

Holiday Tree

Curbside tree collection will begin the first workday following Christmas Day and continue until snow accumulates or the end of January. It will then resume in April when the yard waste curbside collection begins. Holiday Trees should be placed on the terrace.
